Who we are

Houda Style was created from a place of transformation, purpose, and surrender to Jesus. The name itself carries meaning: it comes from my last name Houdashelt, pronounced “how-da-shelt”, which naturally became Houda Style — a beautiful reflection of “How to Style.” But what started as a clever play on words became something deeper.

Modesty is deeply important to me because I know what it feels like to seek validation from the world. Before giving my life to Christ, I dressed for attention. I wanted to feel approval and admiration and I thought my appearance was the way to get it.

For a while, it worked.
People noticed. Compliments came.
But inside, I always felt empty.

No matter how good the outfit looked, nothing could fill the longing in my heart for real love, acceptance, and identity.

When I surrendered my life to Jesus, everything shifted, including how I saw myself. I learned that my worth wasn’t found in how much attention I could get or how “good enough” I appeared to others. My worth was already established by the God who created me.

And once I experienced the love of Jesus, I never wanted anything less.

Now, I dress not to be seen by the world,
but to honor who God created me to be.

Modesty is no longer restriction.
It is confidence. It is dignity.
It is freedom.

Houda Style isn’t just about clothes.
It’s about helping women discover confidence rooted in faith, identity in Christ, and a beauty that can’t fade.

You are loved.
You are chosen.
You are clothed in strength and dignity.
